Ekans

Ekans is a Poison-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation I, making its debut in the original Pokémon Red and Blue games. Known as the Snake Pokémon, Ekans is recognized for its serpentine form, purple scales, and yellow rings. It evolves into Arbok starting at level 22. In the anime, Ekans is famously associated with Jessie from Team Rocket, serving as one of her primary Pokémon companions, which significantly boosted its recognition and popularity among early fans. Its natural habitat includes grasslands and forests, where it moves silently and stealthily, often hiding in tall grass or trees.
