Aerodactyl

Aerodactyl is a dual-type Rock/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Known as the Fossil Pokémon, it is resurrected from an Old Amber fossil. This ancient predator roamed the skies during prehistoric times, making it a unique species in the Pokémon world as it doesn't evolve from or into any other Pokémon. Its natural habitat would have been rugged, mountainous regions, where it could easily hunt and nest in high cliffs. Aerodactyl is depicted as a fierce carnivore, utilizing its sharp fangs and powerful wings to dominate its environment. In the games, it often serves as a fast and powerful physical attacker. In the anime, it made a memorable appearance in the episode "Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon," where Ash's Charizard saves him from Aerodactyl. Its type combination gives it resistances to Normal, Flying, Poison, Fire, and Bug types, but also leaves it vulnerable to Electric, Ice, Rock, Steel, and Water attacks. Aerodactyl's unique origin story and powerful presence have cemented its place as a fan favorite, embodying the mystery and majesty of ancient Pokémon.
