Morpeko V

Morpeko is a unique Electric/Dark-type Pokémon introduced in the Galar region in Generation VIII. Known as the Two-Sided Pokémon, its most distinctive characteristic is its perpetual hunger, which causes it to alternate between two forms: Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode. In Full Belly Mode, Morpeko is bright and cheerful, with a yellow and brown coat. When it becomes hungry, it switches to Hangry Mode, turning dark purple and black, with a more aggressive demeanor. This transformation is driven by its internal electric sacs, which continuously generate electricity, stimulating its appetite. Morpeko often carries around Berry seeds, which it carefully roasts with its electricity before eating. It is a relatively small Pokémon, often found in grassy areas or near human settlements, where food sources are abundant. Its unique dual typing provides interesting strategic advantages in battles. In the Pokémon games, Morpeko is notable for its signature ability, Hunger Switch, which changes its form and the type of its signature move, Aura Wheel. In the anime, Morpeko has appeared as a companion to Team Rocket's James, frequently causing trouble due to its insatiable hunger. Its quirky personality and distinct design have made it a popular Pokémon among fans, embodying the concept of contrasting moods and appearances.
