Wobbuffet

Wobbuffet, the Patient Pokémon, is a Psychic-type introduced in Generation II. It evolves from Wynaut and is known for its perpetually smiling face and its unique fighting style which relies heavily on counter-attacks rather than direct offense. Wobbuffet's Pokédex entries consistently highlight its nature as a defensive Pokémon, often stating that it will endure attacks to protect its black tail, which is said to be its true body. This tail is rarely seen as Wobbuffet guards it fiercely. In the wild, Wobbuffet are often found in dark caves or forests, patiently waiting for prey or defending their territory. Their diet is primarily made of small insects and berries. Wobbuffet gained significant cultural recognition through its prominent role in the Pokémon anime as Jessie's often-misunderstood and comically-timed companion in Team Rocket, frequently popping out of its Poké Ball at inopportune moments. Its distinctive "Wobbuffet!" cry and peculiar movements have made it a fan favorite, embodying a blend of silliness and surprising resilience.
