In the anime, James of Team Rocket famously owned a Chimecho, which became a beloved companion due to its endearing personality and unique sound-based abilities. Its distinctive design, resembling a traditional Japanese wind chime, contributes to its cultural significance, often associated with peace and tranquility. Despite its delicate appearance, Chimecho possesses powerful sonic attacks, using sound waves to defend itself and communicate with others of its kind.
