Omanyte

Omanyte, the Spiral Pokémon, is a dual Water/Rock type from the first generation. It is one of the fossil Pokémon, evolving from the Helix Fossil and then into Omastar. This ancient creature is depicted as a cephalopod with a hard, spiral shell, resembling a nautilus. Omanyte lived in ancient seas, swimming with its tentacles and feeding on plankton. Its natural habitat would have been warm, shallow waters, and its behavior is characterized by its passive nature, primarily focused on filter-feeding. Due to its fossilized nature, Omanyte is a representation of prehistoric life within the Pokémon world, brought back through modern scientific methods. Its introduction in Generation I alongside Kabuto highlighted the concept of reviving ancient Pokémon, adding a layer of scientific intrigue to the series. Omanyte has appeared in various games, anime episodes, and manga, often as a rare and significant find, symbolizing the mysteries of the past. Its unique typing gives it resistances to Fire, Flying, Ice, and Rock, but also notable weaknesses.
