Floatzel

Floatzel, known as the Sea Weasel Pokémon, is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV. It is the evolved form of Buizel, evolving from it starting at level 26. Floatzel is easily recognizable by its orange and cream fur, its distinctive blue fins on its forearms, and the large yellow flotation sac around its neck, which it can inflate or deflate at will. This sac is crucial to its survival and hunting strategy, allowing it to float on water and carry prey or even people. Floatzel typically inhabits rivers and coastal areas, where it is an agile and powerful swimmer, often seen assisting people in distress in the water due to its strong swimming abilities and buoyancy. Its diet primarily consists of aquatic Pokémon and fish. In the Pokémon anime, Ash’s Buizel evolved into Floatzel, showcasing its power and speed in battles, particularly against powerful opponents. Its design and abilities emphasize its role as a swift and adaptable aquatic predator, embodying the essence of a sea weasel. Floatzel’s Water typing gives it a natural advantage against Fire, Ground, and Rock types, while making it vulnerable to Electric and Grass types.
