Wingull

Wingull is a dual Water/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III, hailing from the Hoenn region. It is the pre-evolution of Pelipper, evolving at level 25. Known as the "Seagull Pokémon," Wingull are commonly found soaring over oceans and beaches, often seen resting on cliffs or boats. They are characterized by their white bodies, blue-striped wings, and yellow beaks, which are surprisingly large despite their small size. Wingull are primarily fish-eaters, using their beaks to scoop up prey from the water. In the Pokémon world, they are often depicted as mail carriers or messengers, utilizing their flight capabilities to deliver items across islands, a role that highlights their intelligent and adaptable nature. Their presence is a common sight in coastal towns within the games and anime, often appearing in large flocks. Wingull’s design is clearly inspired by real-world seagulls, embodying a sense of freedom and connection to marine environments.
