Seviper

Seviper, known as the Fang Snake Pokémon, is a pure Poison-type introduced in Generation III with the Hoenn region. It does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon. Seviper is instantly recognizable by its long, black, serpentine body adorned with golden, diamond-shaped markings and a distinctive blade-like tail. Its natural habitat includes grasslands and forests, often found in areas where its natural rival, Zangoose, also resides. The two species share an intense, generations-long feud, frequently depicted in both the Pokémon games and anime. Seviper’s diet primarily consists of smaller Pokémon, which it paralyzes with its potent venom before consuming. In the games, Seviper is often encountered early on and is a reliable Poison-type companion for many trainers, valued for its decent offensive stats. In the anime, Jessie from Team Rocket famously owns a Seviper, which highlights its cunning and formidable battle prowess. Its cultural significance within the Pokémon world is largely tied to its iconic rivalry, making it a memorable and distinct Pokémon. The design itself draws inspiration from venomous snakes, emphasizing its dangerous yet elegant form.
