Whismur

Whismur, known as the Whisper Pokémon, is a Normal-type creature first introduced in Generation III with the release of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It is the first stage in an evolutionary line, evolving into Loudred at level 20 and then into Exploud at level 40. Whismur is characterized by its perpetually crying expression and large, ear-like appendages that act as sensitive sound receptors. Despite its appearance, Whismur is generally a timid and gentle Pokémon. Its natural habitat includes caves and dark areas, where its sensitive hearing allows it to detect even the slightest sounds, often leading to it being startled. When startled or feeling threatened, Whismur can emit a loud cry, though it generally prefers to remain quiet, hence its "Whisper" designation. Its diet is believed to consist of various cave-dwelling fungi and small insects. In the games, Whismur is often encountered early on, providing players with a relatively strong Normal-type option for their team. In the anime, Whismur has appeared in various episodes, often showcasing its timid nature and its powerful, albeit sometimes accidental, sonic abilities.
