Unown V

Unown are enigmatic Psychic-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation II. Their unique characteristic is their resemblance to the letters of the Latin alphabet, as well as the exclamation mark and question mark. These Pokémon are typically found living in ancient ruins and are often associated with legends and mysterious occurrences, such as the events depicted in the third Pokémon movie, "Spell of the Unown." Unown are believed to have the ability to affect reality when gathered in large numbers, particularly if their collective thoughts are focused on a single individual, as seen with Molly Hale's wish-granting in the movie. They do not evolve from or into any other Pokémon, existing solely in their various letter forms. In the games, Unown are often sought after by collectors due to the challenge of acquiring all 28 forms (26 letters plus 2 punctuation marks). Their lack of significant combat prowess in the main series games is offset by their lore-rich background and their role in uncovering ancient secrets within the Pokémon world. Their unique design and mysterious nature have cemented their place as one of the more intriguing and recognizable Pokémon.
