Togetic is a dual-type Fairy/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It evolves from Togepi when leveled up with high friendship, and further evolves into Togekiss when exposed to a Shiny Stone. Known as the Happiness Pokémon, Togetic is often depicted as a benevolent creature that shares blessings and good fortune with those who are kind and pure-hearted. Its natural habitat is believed to be in places filled with joy and happiness, as it is said to disappear if surrounded by negativity or unkind people. In the anime, Togetic gained prominence through Misty's Togepi, which eventually evolved into a Togetic before being released to protect other Togepi. This Pokémon’s gentle nature and association with good luck make it a beloved figure among fans. As a Fairy type, Togetic is strong against Fighting, Dragon, and Dark types, while being weak to Poison and Steel. Its Flying typing also grants it immunity to Ground-type attacks and resistance to Grass and Fighting. Its role in the games often revolves around being a supportive Pokémon due to its diverse move pool, including many status-inflicting and healing moves.
