Thundurus

Thundurus is a legendary Electric/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V, making its debut in the Unova region with the games Pokémon Black and White. It is one of the Forces of Nature, alongside Tornadus and Landorus, often depicted in its Incarnate Forme, as seen on this card, or its more bestial Therian Forme. In its Incarnate Forme, Thundurus resembles a muscular, genie-like figure with white cloud-like hair and a tail adorned with spikes that discharge immense bolts of lightning. Its natural habitat is typically open skies and storm clouds, where it is known to fly around causing thunderstorms and firing off lightning bolts, often to the dismay of local farmers. Thundurus has no evolutionary line, existing as a standalone legendary Pokémon with a form change mechanic. In the games, it plays a significant role in various side quests, particularly those involving the agricultural prosperity of the Unova region. Its mischievous and destructive tendencies are a recurring theme in its lore, often requiring the intervention of the player to quell its rampages. As an Electric/Flying type, it has a unique set of type matchups, being weak to Rock and Ice types, resistant to Fighting, Flying, Bug, Steel, and Grass types, and immune to Ground-type attacks. Its powerful offensive capabilities, especially its access to strong Electric and Flying moves, make it a formidable opponent and a valuable asset in battles.
