Simisear, known as the Ember Pokémon, is a Fire-type creature introduced in Generation V alongside the Unova region. It evolves from Pansear when exposed to a Fire Stone, forming a trio with Simisage and Simipour, each corresponding to one of the three starter types. In the games, Simisear is often associated with the Striaton City Gym Leaders Cilan, Chili, and Cress, with Chili, the Fire-type specialist, owning a Simisear. Its natural habitat includes volcanic areas and warm climates, where it can easily find fuel for its fiery attacks. Simisear's diet primarily consists of fruits and berries, though it is also known to consume small insects.
