Tentacruel

Tentacruel, the Jellyfish Pokémon, is a formidable Water/Poison-type creature introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Tentacool starting at Level 30. Residing primarily in vast ocean depths, Tentacruel are known for their immense size and numerous tentacles, which they can extend to incredible lengths to ensnare prey or defend their territory. Their diet consists mainly of smaller fish Pokémon, which they paralyze with potent toxins before consuming. In the wild, Tentacruel are often found in colonies, though larger, more powerful individuals may claim vast stretches of the ocean floor as their own. Their distinctive red orbs on their heads are highly sensitive sensory organs, allowing them to detect even the slightest vibrations in the water, making them incredibly difficult to surprise. In the games, Tentacruel is a common sight in oceanic routes, often serving as a reliable Special Attacker due to its high Special Attack and Speed stats. In the anime, Tentacruel have been portrayed as both antagonists, often threatening human settlements, and as protectors of marine environments. Their design, inspired by jellyfish, has cemented their place as one of the iconic Water-type Pokémon from the Kanto region, frequently appearing in spin-off media and merchandise.
