Team Aquas Muk

Muk, the Sludge Pokémon, is a Poison-type introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Grimer starting at level 38. Muk is infamous for its noxious, foul-smelling body, which is composed of toxic sludge. It thrives in polluted environments, often found near factories, sewers, and garbage dumps, where it can absorb waste to sustain itself. Its diet consists primarily of industrial waste and other toxic substances, which it converts into its own body mass. Muk's behavior is generally sluggish, but it can be surprisingly aggressive when provoked, using its corrosive body to attack. In the games, Muk is known for its high Attack and Special Defense stats, making it a formidable opponent. In the anime, Ash Ketchum famously caught a Grimer that evolved into a Muk, which became a loyal and affectionate, albeit smelly, member of his team. Its gooey embraces were often a source of comedic relief. Muk represents the environmental impact of pollution within the Pokémon world, serving as a constant reminder of humanity's effect on nature.
