Camerupt, known as the Eruption Pokémon, is a dual Fire/Ground-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It is the evolved form of Numel, evolving at level 33. These eruptions are said to occur every ten years, though they can happen more frequently if the Pokémon is particularly agitated. Camerupt typically inhabits volcanic regions and rocky mountains, thriving in hot, arid environments where its natural abilities are best utilized. In the Pokémon games and anime, Camerupt is often depicted as a powerful and steadfast Pokémon, sometimes used by villainous teams like Team Magma due to its destructive potential. Its Ground typing makes it immune to Electric-type attacks, while its Fire typing gives it an advantage against Grass, Ice, Bug, and Steel types. Conversely, it is weak to Water and Ground types, and particularly vulnerable to Water due to its dual typing.
