Surskit

Surskit, the Pond Skater Pokémon, is a dual Bug/Water-type creature introduced in Generation III. This tiny Pokémon is known for its ability to glide effortlessly across the surface of water, much like a real-life water strider. Its four legs are coated with an oily substance that allows it to move without breaking the water's surface tension. Surskit's diet primarily consists of microscopic organisms it finds in ponds and lakes, and it uses its long, proboscis-like mouth to suck up nutrients. When threatened, it can squirt a sweet-smelling fluid from the tip of its head, which it uses to deter predators. Surskit evolves into Masquerain, a larger, more elaborate Bug/Flying-type Pokémon, at level 22. In the anime, Surskit has appeared in various episodes, often showcasing its graceful movements and its gentle nature. It is a common sight in aquatic environments within the Hoenn region and beyond, playing a role in maintaining the ecological balance of its habitat.
