Snorunt evolves into Glalie at level 42, or into Froslass when exposed to a Dawn Stone, but only if it is female. In the games, Snorunt is a common early-game Ice-type, valued for its eventual powerful evolutions. In the anime, Ash caught a Snorunt that later evolved into Glalie, showcasing its playful yet determined personality. Snorunt's design, inspired by traditional Japanese folklore creatures like the yukinko (snow child), contributes to its cultural significance as a charming and auspicious winter sprite.
