Seedot, the Acorn Pokémon, is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. This tiny creature is often found clinging to tree branches, disguised as an acorn, and is known for its peculiar habit of falling from trees to startle others. Seedot’s natural habitat includes forests and woodlands, particularly in the Hoenn region, where it spends its days absorbing moisture and nutrients from the soil and sunlight. Its diet primarily consists of water and photosynthesis. It evolves into Nuzleaf starting at level 14, and then into Shiftry when exposed to a Leaf Stone. As a Grass type, Seedot is weak to Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug-type moves, while resisting Water, Electric, Grass, and Ground types. In the games, Seedot is an early-game Pokémon, often encountered in the first few routes. In the anime, it has made various appearances, showcasing its playful and sometimes mischievous nature. Its design, based on an acorn, gives it a charming and recognizable presence within the Pokémon universe, symbolizing growth and the hidden potential within small beginnings.
