Its diet primarily consists of mineral-rich soil and rocks, which contribute to the strength of its shell. In the games, Pupitar often serves as a powerful mid-stage evolution, showcasing significant stat increases from Larvitar. In the anime, it has appeared in various episodes, often highlighting its pre-evolutionary connection to Tyranitar and its raw power. Its design, resembling a chrysalis or pupa, emphasizes its transitional stage, hinting at the immense power it will gain upon evolving.
