Primeape, the Pig Monkey Pokémon, is a Fighting-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Mankey, evolving at level 28. In the anime, Ash Ketchum famously caught a Mankey that evolved into a Primeape, which he later gave to a fighting Pokémon trainer for intensive training.
