Pikachu

Pikachu, the iconic Electric-type Mouse Pokémon, was introduced in Generation I alongside the original 150 Pokémon. It is the most recognizable Pokémon globally, serving as the franchise's mascot. Pikachu evolves from Pichu when leveled up with high friendship and then into Raichu using a Thunder Stone. Its natural habitat includes forests and power plants, where it can be found living in groups. Pikachu primarily feeds on berries and other small plant matter, often using its tail to test for ripeness or to deliver electric shocks when threatened. Known for its playful and curious behavior, Pikachu communicates through various vocalizations, most famously its "Pika-Pika" cry. In the games, it is a popular early-game Electric-type, while in the anime, Ash's Pikachu is a central character, known for its unwavering loyalty and refusal to evolve. Its cultural significance extends beyond gaming and anime, appearing in numerous collaborations, merchandise, and even as a symbol for various events, cementing its status as a global pop culture icon. Its Electric typing gives it an advantage against Flying and Water types, but makes it vulnerable to Ground-type attacks.
