Pidgeot

Pidgeot is the final evolution of Pidgey, evolving from Pidgeotto, and is a prominent Flying/Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Known as the "Bird Pokémon," Pidgeot is celebrated for its incredible speed, often clocked at Mach 2, and its powerful wings capable of creating violent gusts of wind. Its natural habitat includes vast forests and open skies, where it soars gracefully, often leading flocks of smaller bird Pokémon. Pidgeot primarily preys on smaller Pokémon, utilizing its keen eyesight and swift dives to catch its meals. In the games, Pidgeot is a reliable early-game Flying-type, often featured on trainers' teams and playing a significant role in various anime episodes, most notably as Ash's loyal companion for a considerable period. Its striking crest, which is said to be the most beautiful of all bird Pokémon, adds to its cultural significance as a symbol of freedom and power in the Pokémon world.
