Pidgeot

Pidgeot, the majestic Bird Pokémon, is a Normal/Flying type first introduced in Generation I. It is the final evolution of the Pidgey line, evolving from Pidgeotto. Known for its incredible speed and powerful wings, Pidgeot is a common sight in the Kanto region, soaring high above forests and open plains. Its keen eyesight allows it to spot prey from great distances, and it's famous for its ability to create powerful gusts of wind with a single flap of its wings. In the games, Pidgeot is a reliable early-game flying type, often used by trainers for its balanced stats and access to useful HM moves like Fly. Ash Ketchum famously caught a Pidgeotto in the anime, which later evolved into Pidgeot, becoming one of his most iconic Pokémon before its eventual release. Its design, reminiscent of a large bird of prey, has made it a fan favorite, embodying the classic avian archetype within the Pokémon world. Pidgeot’s role in the ecosystem is that of a predator, preying on smaller Pokémon, and its presence signifies a healthy natural environment.
