Natu is a dual-type Psychic/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II, making its debut in the Pokémon Gold and Silver games. Known as the Tiny Bird Pokémon, Natu is remarkably small, standing at just 0'08" (0.2 meters) and weighing 4.4 lbs (2 kg). Its natural habitat often includes ancient ruins, deserts, and grasslands, where it can be seen hopping on the ground or perching on branches, carefully observing its surroundings. Natu primarily forages for food on the ground, but on rare occasions, it will hop onto branches to peck at shoots. This behavior highlights its cautious and observant nature. Natu is the pre-evolution of Xatu, evolving at level 25. Both Natu and Xatu are revered in some cultures for their psychic powers, with Xatu particularly known for its ability to see into the future. In the games, Natu's Psychic typing gives it an advantage against Fighting and Poison types, while its Flying typing helps against Grass, Fighting, and Bug types. However, it is vulnerable to Electric, Ice, Rock, Ghost, and Dark attacks. Natu has appeared in the anime, often depicted as a curious and sometimes mischievous Pokémon, further endearing it to fans.
