Mist Energy

Mist Energy is a special energy card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, rather than a Pokémon itself. As such, it doesn't have Pokédex lore, a natural habitat, diet, or evolution line. Energy cards are fundamental to the gameplay, providing the power needed for Pokémon to use their attacks. Special Energy cards, like Mist Energy, offer unique effects in addition to providing energy. They often play a strategic role in specific deck archetypes by offering defensive or offensive advantages beyond basic energy provision. Mist Energy is a colorless energy, meaning it can be attached to any Pokémon to fulfill a single colorless energy requirement for an attack. Its primary function is to protect the Pokémon it's attached to from undesirable effects, making it a valuable asset for maintaining board presence and countering status conditions or other disruptive attack effects. The concept of special energy has been a part of the Pokémon TCG since its early days, evolving with each new generation and set to introduce new tactical layers to the game.
