Mandibuzz, the Bone Vulture Pokémon, is a Dark/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is the evolved form of Vullaby, reaching this stage at level 54. Native to arid regions and deserts, Mandibuzz are known for their distinctive behavior of collecting bones to adorn themselves and their nests. These bones often come from prey they or other Pokémon have hunted, and they are particularly fond of decorating with the skulls of Cubone and Marowak. Mandibuzz are primarily scavengers, soaring high in the sky to spot weakened or deceased Pokémon on the ground, which they then swoop down to consume. Their strong beaks and sharp talons are well-suited for tearing apart carrion. In the anime, Mandibuzz are often depicted as fierce and territorial, sometimes clashing with other flying Pokémon. Their unique appearance, with their pink, featherless neck and head, and the bone decorations, makes them quite memorable. As a Dark/Flying type, Mandibuzz has a unique set of resistances and weaknesses, being immune to Ground-type attacks and resistant to Grass and Dark, but vulnerable to Electric, Ice, Rock, and Fairy.
