Lombre

Lombre is a Water/Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III, evolving from Lotad and preceding Ludicolo. Known as the Jolly Pokémon, Lombre typically inhabits freshwater lakes and ponds, often found near the water's edge or lounging on lily pads. Its large, sombrero-like head is actually a water lily, which it uses to camouflage itself among aquatic plants. Lombre is characterized by its mischievous and playful nature, often teasing anglers by tugging on their fishing lines or pelting them with pebbles. In the wild, it is primarily an omnivore, feeding on aquatic plants, small fish, and insects. Its unique dual typing gives it interesting matchups, being strong against Ground, Rock, and Fire types, but vulnerable to Flying, Poison, and Bug types. In the Pokémon games, Lombre serves as a reliable mid-stage evolution, offering decent bulk and special attack. In the anime, it often appears as a fun-loving and somewhat clumsy character, with Brock owning a particularly memorable one that eventually evolves into Ludicolo. Its design, reminiscent of a kappa or a Mexican mariachi, contributes to its distinctive cultural appeal within the Pokémon universe.
