Lickitung

Lickitung, the Licking Pokémon, is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is famous for its extraordinarily long and dexterous tongue, which can extend to twice its body length. Lickitung uses this tongue for various purposes, from exploring its surroundings and tasting new objects to grooming itself and even battling. Its tongue is always sticky and covered in a powerful saliva, which can cause a rash if it licks someone. Lickitung is known for its playful yet sometimes mischievous nature, often surprising unsuspecting trainers with a sudden lick. In the wild, Lickitung prefers to inhabit grasslands and forests, where it can easily find food like berries and insects, which it catches with its agile tongue. It evolves into Lickilicky when traded while holding a Protector, an evolution introduced in Generation IV. Lickitung has made numerous appearances in the Pokémon anime, often showcasing its unique tongue abilities, and has been a staple in the Pokémon games since the very beginning, delighting players with its quirky design and abilities.
