Lickitung

Lickitung, the Licking Pokémon, is a Normal-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation I. It is known for its incredibly long, prehensile tongue, which is twice the length of its body. This tongue is not only used for tasting and exploring its environment but also for catching prey and grooming itself. Lickitung’s diet primarily consists of insects and berries, which it can easily snatch with its sticky tongue. It is often found in grasslands and forests, where it can blend into its surroundings and ambush its next meal. Lickitung evolves into Lickilicky when traded while holding a Protector. In the games, Lickitung is a relatively common encounter in early routes, and its unique tongue-based attacks, such as "Lick" and "Tongue Wrap," are signature moves. In the anime, Lickitung has made several memorable appearances, most notably as a Pokémon owned by Jessie of Team Rocket, who accidentally acquired it after it licked her face. Its quirky design and distinctive behavior have made it a recognizable and somewhat humorous figure within the Pokémon universe, representing the diverse and often peculiar creatures inhabiting the world. Its Normal typing gives it a broad range of moves and makes it immune to Ghost-type attacks.
