Froakie is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI, originating from the Kalos region. Known as the Bubble Frog Pokémon, Froakie is the unevolved form of Frogadier, which then evolves into the popular Greninja. Its natural habitat is typically near sources of water, such as ponds, lakes, and rivers, where it can easily camouflage itself within the aquatic environment. Froakie's diet consists primarily of small insects and aquatic organisms. Behaviorally, Froakie is characterized by its playful yet cautious demeanor. It uses the delicate bubbles on its body, known as "Frubbles," to protect itself and to confuse opponents, creating a diversion before making its escape. In the Pokémon games, Froakie is one of the three starter Pokémon players can choose at the beginning of their journey in Pokémon X and Y, making it a fan favorite. Its evolution, Greninja, gained significant cultural significance through its appearance in the Pokémon anime as Ash's powerful and unique "Ash-Greninja," further cementing Froakie's place in Pokémon lore. Its Water typing gives it an advantage against Fire, Ground, and Rock-type Pokémon, while being weak to Grass and Electric types.
