Froakie is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI as one of the three starter Pokémon of the Kalos region, alongside Chespin and Fennekin. Known as the Bubble Frog Pokémon, Froakie is characterized by the white foam, or "Frubbles," around its neck and back, which it uses to protect itself from attacks and to launch at opponents. This foam is also said to be very flexible and cushioning.
