Fearow

Fearow is a large, avian Pokémon with a long, narrow beak and a distinctive crimson crest. Classified as the Beak Pokémon, it is a dual Normal/Flying type introduced in Generation I. Fearow evolves from Spearow starting at level 20. Its natural habitat includes open fields, grasslands, and mountainous regions, where it soars high above, using its keen eyesight to spot prey from a distance. Fearow is known for its incredible speed and stamina, capable of flying for extended periods without needing to rest. Its diet primarily consists of smaller Pokémon, such as Caterpie and Weedle, which it snatches mid-flight with its powerful talons. In the games, Fearow is often encountered as a wild Pokémon in Kanto and Johto regions, and it has been featured in the anime as a persistent, sometimes aggressive, presence, notably harassing Ash's Pikachu and Spearow flock in early episodes. Its high attack and speed stats make it a decent early-game flyer in the video games. Culturally, Fearow represents freedom and predatory efficiency, often depicted as a proud and independent creature. Despite being an early-generation Pokémon, it remains a recognizable and iconic bird Pokémon.
