Emolga is a dual-type Electric/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation V. It is known as the Sky Squirrel Pokémon, resembling a flying squirrel with large ears and a white belly. Emolga does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon. Native to the Unova region, Emolga typically inhabits forests and woodlands, gliding between trees using the membranes between its arms and legs. Its diet primarily consists of berries and nuts, which it often carries in its cheek pouches. Emolga is characterized by its playful and mischievous nature, often seen zipping through the air with impressive agility. In the anime, Emolga is notably featured as one of Iris’s Pokémon, showcasing its ability to use Attract and Discharge to great effect. Its Electric/Flying typing gives it a unique set of resistances and weaknesses, being vulnerable to Rock and Ice type moves but resistant to Fighting, Flying, Bug, Steel, and Grass types, and immune to Ground.
