Dusknoir

Dusknoir is a Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV, first appearing in the Diamond and Pearl games. Known as the Gripper Pokémon, it is the final evolution of Duskull, evolving from Dusclops when traded holding a Reaper Cloth. Its design is inspired by cyclops and grim reapers, featuring a single eye and a large, round body with a maw on its stomach. Dusknoir is said to guide lost spirits to the afterlife, often acting as a gatekeeper between the living and the dead. Its Pokédex entries frequently emphasize its ability to absorb spirits into its body and its connection to the spirit world, using radio waves from the antenna on its head to command these spirits. In the anime, Dusknoir has played significant roles, notably in "The Rise of Darkrai" movie and various episodes where it often appears as a powerful and mysterious entity. It is a formidable opponent in the games, boasting high defensive stats, making it a strategic choice for many trainers.
