Diglett

Diglett is a ground-type Pokémon, a small, mole-like creature known for living underground. First introduced in Generation I with the release of Pokémon Red and Blue, Diglett is one of the original 151 Pokémon. Its Pokédex entries consistently highlight its subterranean lifestyle, feeding on plant roots and occasionally surfacing. Diglett evolves into Dugtrio at level 26, a unique evolution where three Diglett appear to merge. In the Pokémon games, Diglett is often found in caves or tunnels, most notably Diglett's Cave, a famous route connecting Vermilion City and Route 2 in Kanto. Its ground typing makes it effective against electric, fire, poison, rock, and steel types, but vulnerable to water, grass, and ice.
