Aegislash, the Royal Blade Pokémon, is a Steel/Ghost-type introduced in Generation VI. It is the final evolution of Honedge, evolving from Doublade when exposed to a Dusk Stone. Aegislash is unique for its Stance Change ability, which allows it to switch between its Blade Forme (offensive) and Shield Forme (defensive) during battle, making it a versatile and strategic Pokémon. It can sense the innate qualities of a leader and will choose to serve those it deems worthy. Its body is composed of a sword and a shield, both imbued with a powerful spirit.
