Kleavor

Kleavor, the Axe Pokémon, is a Bug/Rock-type introduced in Generation VIII as part of the Hisui region’s unique evolutionary line for Scyther. Unlike its traditional evolution Scizor, Kleavor evolves when Scyther is exposed to Black Augurite. This ancient Pokémon is known for its formidable axe-like arms, which it uses to fell trees and carve out its territory. Its rugged, stone-like carapace provides excellent defense, making it a powerful force in its natural forested habitats. Kleavor’s behavior is characterized by its aggressive territoriality and its reliance on its sharp appendages for both offense and defense. In the Hisui region, it was revered as a noble and dangerous creature, often requiring careful navigation by early settlers. Its unique type combination gives it interesting matchups, being resistant to Normal and Poison, but weak to Rock, Steel, and Water. While not a central figure in the main series anime, its presence in Pokémon Legends: Arceus highlights its historical significance and unique evolutionary path, offering players a glimpse into the ancient past of the Pokémon world.
