Weezing

Weezing, the Poison Gas Pokémon, is a notorious creature from the Kanto region, first introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Koffing and is instantly recognizable by its conjoined spherical bodies, each capable of expelling potent, malodorous gases. According to Pokédex entries, Weezing's bodies are filled with various toxic fumes, which it inhales from trash and industrial waste, then mixes internally to create an even more potent stench. Its natural habitat includes polluted areas, abandoned factories, and garbage dumps, where it thrives on the toxic environment. Weezing is known for its ability to float through the air, propelled by the gases it expels. In the anime, James of Team Rocket famously owned a Weezing, showcasing its loyalty despite its dangerous nature. As a pure Poison-type Pokémon, Weezing is weak to Psychic and Ground-type attacks and resistant to Fighting, Poison, Bug, and Grass types. Its unique design and role in the early Pokémon narratives have cemented its place as a memorable and culturally significant Pokémon, often symbolizing the dangers of pollution.
