Venomoth

Venomoth, the Poison Moth Pokémon, is a dual-type Bug/Poison Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Venonat starting at Level 31. Known for its nocturnal habits, Venomoth is often found fluttering around at night, attracted to light. Its wings are covered in highly toxic dust, which it scatters to paralyze or poison its foes. This dust, according to the Pokédex, varies in color depending on the type of poison it possesses. Venomoth's keen sense of smell allows it to detect even the faintest scents from miles away, aiding it in finding its preferred diet of tree sap and small insects. In the anime, Venomoth has made several appearances, often showcasing its agility and poisonous abilities, such as in "The Problem with Paras." Its design, reminiscent of a large moth with prominent antennae and eyes, gives it a somewhat mysterious and elegant appearance. Despite its poisonous nature, Venomoth is not always depicted as malevolent, sometimes acting as a protector or simply a creature of its environment.
