Tympole

Tympole is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V, hailing from the Unova region. It is known as the Tadpole Pokémon, and its Pokédex entry notes its ability to vibrate its cheeks to emit sound waves that are imperceptible to humans, using them to warn others of danger. Tympole evolves into Palpitoad starting at level 25, and then into Seismitoad starting at level 36. In the wild, Tympole are typically found in ponds, lakes, and other freshwater environments, where they primarily feed on aquatic plants and small insects. Their behavior is often characterized by schooling together for safety, and their vibrant blue and black coloration helps them blend into their watery surroundings. In the Pokémon anime, Tympole has made appearances, often showcasing its sound-based abilities. Its evolutionary line is notable for its unique combination of Water and Ground typing, which offers interesting strategic advantages and disadvantages in the games.
