Turtwig Gl

Turtwig is the Grass-type starter Pokémon of the Sinnoh region, introduced in Generation IV alongside Chimchar and Piplup. Known as the Tiny Leaf Pokémon, Turtwig is characterized by the small sapling growing on its head, which stiffens when it drinks water. Its shell is made of soil and hardens when it absorbs sunlight, allowing it to perform photosynthesis. Turtwig evolves into Grotle starting at level 18, and then into Torterra starting at level 32, a massive Grass/Ground type that carries a small forest on its back. In the wild, Turtwig are often found near clean water sources, basking in the sun to strengthen their shells and the plant on their heads. They are generally docile, spending their days foraging for food and tending to the sapling. Turtwig played a significant role in the Diamond and Pearl anime series as Ash Ketchum's starter Pokémon in Sinnoh, showcasing its loyalty and determination. Its unique design, combining reptilian features with plant life, makes it a fan favorite and a memorable part of the Pokémon ecosystem, representing growth and the natural world.
