Trubbish

Trubbish, the Trash Bag Pokémon, was introduced in Generation V and is a pure Poison-type. Its appearance is that of a crumpled, dark green trash bag with two large, expressive eyes, a jagged mouth, and two long, ear-like protrusions that resemble tied-off bag handles. It also has two stubby arms and legs, and a small, lighter-colored trash-tie tail. Trubbish are known to live in unsanitary places, particularly around landfills and garbage dumps, where they feed on waste. They are said to have been brought to life by a chemical reaction between industrial waste and garbage bags, making them a unique example of human impact on the Pokémon world. Trubbish evolves into Garbodor starting at level 36. In the games, Trubbish and its evolution are often found in areas reflecting their origins, such as the sewers of Castelia City in Black and White. Their Poison typing makes them effective against Grass and Fairy types, but vulnerable to Ground and Psychic attacks. In the anime, Trubbish often appear in episodes highlighting environmental themes, sometimes as mischievous nuisances but occasionally as misunderstood creatures seeking companionship. Their design, while initially polarizing, has grown into a charming representation of the unintended consequences of pollution, embodying a distinctive ecological message within the Pokémon universe.
