Toxtricity is a dual Electric/Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII, native to the Galar region. It is the evolved form of Toxel, evolving at level 30 depending on its nature. Toxtricity has two distinct forms: Amped Form and Low Key Form, each with slightly different appearances and learnsets, reflecting different musical genres. Amped Form Toxtricity, with its more aggressive appearance and spiky features, embodies rock music, while Low Key Form, with a calmer demeanor, leans towards blues or jazz. These forms are determined by Toxel's nature before evolution; natures like Hardy, Brave, Adamant, Naughty, etc., result in Amped Form, while others like Modest, Mild, Quiet, or Calm lead to Low Key Form. Toxtricity generates electricity by strumming the protrusions on its chest, which resemble a bass guitar, producing sound waves that can be highly toxic. Its natural habitat includes power plants and industrial areas, where it can absorb electricity. In the anime, Toxtricity has been featured in battles, showcasing its powerful electric and poison attacks. Its unique design, combining musical instrument aesthetics with a punk rock vibe, has made it a popular Pokémon among fans.
