Thundurus is a legendary Electric/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V, native to the Unova region. It is one of the Forces of Nature, alongside Tornadus and Landorus, and is often depicted as a mischievous and destructive deity, bringing storms and lightning. Thundurus has two forms: Incarnate Forme, which is its standard appearance, and Therian Forme, a more beast-like form with a serpentine body and large wings, obtained when holding the Reveal Glass. In the games, Thundurus is typically encountered roaming the Unova region, bringing thunderous weather. In the anime, it plays a significant role in various episodes, showcasing its power and often causing chaos. Its design is inspired by Raijin, the Japanese god of thunder and storms, reflecting its thematic connection to natural phenomena. Thundurus does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon. Its Electric/Flying typing gives it unique matchups, being immune to Ground-type attacks but vulnerable to Ice and Rock.
