Baltoy, the Clay Doll Pokémon, is a Ground/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation III. This ancient Pokémon is said to have been created from clay dolls that came to life thousands of years ago. It typically resides in ruins and ancient sites, often found in deserts or mountainous regions where remnants of ancient civilizations are abundant. Baltoy moves by spinning on its single foot, and it can emit a beam from its head. Its diet is unknown, but its behavior suggests a connection to the past, often seen mimicking ancient rituals. Baltoy evolves into Claydol starting at level 36. In the games, Baltoy and Claydol are often associated with the Hoenn region's desert and ancient ruins, playing a role in the lore surrounding the Regi trio.
