Tapu Koko Gx

Tapu Koko is a dual-type Electric/Flying Pokémon, one of the four guardian deities of the Alola region, introduced in Generation VII. It does not evolve from or into any other Pokémon. Known as the "Land Spirit Pokémon," Tapu Koko is revered by the people of Melemele Island, where it acts as a protector, often observed flying at incredible speeds across the island. Its behavior is characterized by its curious and sometimes aggressive nature, challenging those it deems worthy or protecting its territory with fierce electric attacks. In the games, Tapu Koko is a powerful ally and a significant figure in the Alolan lore, often appearing in key story moments. In the anime, it plays a pivotal role in Ash Ketchum's journey through Alola, frequently interacting with him and even gifting him a Z-Ring. Its design, reminiscent of a tribal mask or totem, reflects the cultural aesthetics of the Alola region, drawing inspiration from Polynesian mythology. Tapu Koko’s Electric typing makes it strong against Water and Flying types, while its Flying typing gives it an advantage over Grass, Fighting, and Bug types, but also makes it vulnerable to Rock, Ice, and Electric attacks.
