Tangela

Tangela is a mysterious Grass-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation I. Known for its body composed entirely of blue, tangled vines, it often hides itself by camouflaging into bushes, only revealing its large, white eyes. Its vines can stretch and contract, allowing it to ensnare prey or defend itself. Tangela is a basic Pokémon and does not evolve into or from any other Pokémon in its debut generation, though it later gains an evolution, Tangrowth, in Generation IV. In the games, Tangela is often found in grassy areas, reflecting its natural habitat as a vine-covered creature. Its unique physiology and elusive nature have made it a memorable figure in the Pokémon universe, often depicted in the anime as a somewhat shy but capable combatant. Tangela’s Grass typing gives it strategic advantages against Water, Ground, and Rock-type Pokémon, while making it vulnerable to Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug attacks.
