Squirtle

Squirtle, the Tiny Turtle Pokémon, is a beloved Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is one of the three starter Pokémon from the Kanto region, alongside Bulbasaur and Charmander, and has been a fan favorite since its debut in Pokémon Red and Blue. Squirtle evolves into Wartortle and then into the powerful Blastoise. In the wild, Squirtle are often found near freshwater sources like ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as coastal areas. They are known for their sturdy shells, which not only provide protection but also help them move through water at high speeds. Their diet primarily consists of aquatic plants and small fish. Squirtle are generally playful and social creatures, often seen in groups. In the Pokémon anime, Ash’s Squirtle, a member of the Squirtle Squad, became particularly iconic, showcasing the Pokémon’s loyalty and bravery. Its role as a starter Pokémon makes it a foundational part of many players' first Pokémon journeys, solidifying its place in popular culture. Its Water typing gives it an advantage against Fire, Ground, and Rock types, making it a versatile choice in battles.
